The third Real Catwalk event took place in New York, back where it originally started. Khrystyana organised the event hoping to replicate the success of London, which saw much broader diversity than the original and was much closer to her vision for what the Real Catwalk could be.

Organised on short notice via Instagram, the event drew in over 200 models, not only from the United States but from the wider world too with models flying in especially to take part.

To date it’s the biggest Real Catwalk event and the one to garner the most media attention.

“The Real CatWalk centered the most marginalized body on this planet by allowing a black trans plus size woman (me) to open their runway show in the middle of time square. It is important that we recognize and celebrate this act of love , this act of reclaiming power
— Jari Jones, New York
“Being a model in #TheRealCatwalk was such an empowering and uplifting experience. The show for me was about inspiring others to accept themselves! I was so grateful to have crossed paths with such beautiful people representing all walks of life!”
— Constance Smith, Boston
